I don't see any people on the streets. Must be behind all that vibrancy.

    ^ Very cool shot. Amazing.

One minor negative, though, is that it doesn't quite capture the differences in elevation, eg. looking at it quickly, you'd think that the Terrace building is on the same level as the ballpark. The valley doesn't really appear as a distinct geographical entity.

Just think, very soon all that green will be replaced by buildings.

A fair portion of that green is obscuring abandoned, run down, or outright burnt out shacks. I think they demo'd one of them recently after it partially burned down.

Right, so there's nothing else that could be done other than turn it into another non-descript housing development.

Which I always thought was kind of a good look for the Fed building, ie. sinister.

    Nice shot.

Because of that building, or at least one floor of it, Alberta politics is very different today than what it would have been otherwise.

EDIT: I stand partly corrected. Skypalace wasn't revealed until after Redford quit, though it still probably contributed to the general air of decline that accrued to the Tories going into the 2015 election.

There’s a reason why the @edmfolkfest has become a summer institution in this city. Four days of music, community and this incredible view top our list! Are you on the hill this weekend?

Now, THAT is an interesting shot. We rarely see the university photographed from that height and angle. And I like the unintentional mischief of JUST missing any appearance of downtown.

Twin cities perhaps, just one bigger than the other?

^ Well, I guess the conclusion would be that the skyline of downtown Saskatoon resembles a university campus.
