Trump tries to distance himself from 'Send her back' chants despite silence at rally
Says he 'felt a little bit badly about it,' claims to have tried to stop chant

"I felt a little bit badly about it," Trump told reporters at the White House when asked about the chants, which drew an outpouring of criticism. "I disagreed with it. But again I didn't say that. They did. And I disagreed with."

Speaking in the Oval Office, Trump claimed he tried to stop the chant, which came after he recited a litany of complaints about Omar, the Minnesota representative who fled to the U.S. as a child with her family from violence-wracked Somalia. Video shows the president pausing his remarks, appearing to drink in the uproar and not admonishing his supporters as they chanted.

    Yeah, distancing himself.

Just like that hooker who he said he didn't know, who said he did not pay, who he said it was his lawyer, who said his lawyer was lying, who said that it was not him on the tapes, who said he did not pay, who said he is honest and by the way, Melania was pregnant with his son Baron when he was screwing the hooker...

    Nothing to see here!

What about those Clintons and that whole blue dress affair...

    Stop spreading fake news.

He's tweeting about it right now.

It is amazing how the Fake News Media became “crazed” over the chant “send her back” by a packed Arena (a record) crowd in the Great State of North Carolina, but is totally calm & accepting of the most vile and disgusting statements made by the three Radical Left Congresswomen...

Although he did say that he wasn't happy with it, he disagrees with it, and that people shouldn't do it. (video of him saying that here: https://twitter.com/RealKyleMorris/s...05123398049793

That “send her back” chant was just everyday Americans being deliberately crass and inappropriate towards the smug politicians and pompous lefties, who gave them the EXACT reaction they wanted.

I think now we can all expect more of those chants, followed by even more pointing laughing at all the people who are trying to shame them and act morally superior.

    That's how counterculture works.

That's how racism works actually. That's how hate breeds. Its dog whistling to the racists. I'm not surprised at all that you find those acts appropriate. Your stance on this is pathetic.

"Send her back" to where exactly? She's as much american as Trump is.

Send Donald back too please if we are sending people back.

If you don't like it, leave? Maybe that what Obama and the democrats should've told Trump and the republicans, but that would probably start a civil war. But when republicans like Trump do it, its all okay.

I'd like to see Donald's tax returns and his birth certificate.

Why do people keep saying that? I’m no fan of Trump but I do know that he files his taxes with the IRS like any other American. The IRS (United States Government) has all his tax information. So what is it that people are demanding? I don’t understand it. Maybe someone could explain to me what this is all about. As for the birth certificate, are you implying that he may have been born in another country, or on another planet ? I haven’t heard anyone talk about this before. I know there were a lot of people that believed that Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya but I hadn’t heard anything regarding Trumps birthplace. Can you please tell us what the story is on that.

So, I wasn’t surprised to hear so many people expressing fear that the racist, divisive, climate-change-denying, woman-abusing jerk who is our president was going to get re-elected, and was even seeing his poll numbers rise.

Dear Democrats: This is not complicated! Just nominate a decent, sane person, one committed to reunifying the country and creating more good jobs, a person who can gain the support of the independents, moderate Republicans and suburban women who abandoned Donald Trump in the midterms and thus swung the House of Representatives to the Democrats and could do the same for the presidency. And that candidate can win!
    ....

I think Friedman is reading the signs correctly, but his prescription of what to do misses the mark. As he points out, it seems Democrats are failing to deliver an effective response to the forces that has delivered Trump. Friedman suggests all Democrats need to do is go back to the political-center of pre-Trump era and things will be back to normal. Unfortunately, in my opinion, many of those pro-growth policies contributed to the societal divide that unleashed the anti-establishment sentiment in many western democracies.

Pelosi Proves Triangulation Is Really Self-Strangulation

Pelosi often acts as if Trump were merely annoying (and perhaps a useful foil), while the Squad are the true enemies. Unless she ends her feud with the congressional left, Democrats will be marching into battle with a commander who is only halfheartedly challenging the most dangerous president in modern American history.

It has been tradition for Presidents & Presidential candidates to share their tax returns with the public as a matter of disclosing any financial relationships/ties that could impact their term. Trump broke with that norm (and so many others) as his tax returns would show he's not the billionaire businessman that he portrays himself as & has multiple financial entanglements that affect his every action.

Trump is saying that if you don't like America, leave.

He forgets that he himself hates America, dodging serving his country and lauds over Russia and other countries. He hates America and says that the whole system is rigged. His solution was that he boasted that only HE could fix the broken country.

So what are the Democrats who are challenging Trump doing. They are standing up to his lies, concentration camps and lawlessness and instead of leaving, they want to make America a better place.

Hardly noticed is that the Democrats have passed many bills in Congress including new gun legislation, improved election legislation, more accountability from politicians and yesterday they passed a minimum $15 federal wage.

What is Mitch McConnell of the Republicans doing? They block the bill in the Senate from even being tabled, no debate and no votes. He obstructs good government and rules like a dictator.

Ok. Tradition. His tax returns are likely more complicated than all other presidents combined. Why would he want to give every member of the press fodder for headlines. His net worth is more than all previous presidents combined, that’s common knowledge, so naturally there would be a million things that people could make a headline out of. It’s not like it would be peanut sales and expenses to do so like Jimmy Carter. Can’t anyone understand this? Jesus

To avoid any questions of impropriety (which isn't really a question when it comes to Trump. Impropriety is his MO) Are you saying Donald has something to hide from the American public & you're okay with that?

Actually his net worth hasn't ever been established outside of whatever number he spews out, which he has admitted varies based upon his moment-to-moment mood. That's kinda why it's important to get an official accounting of it, via a tax return. He SAYS he's a billionaire, but he's a narcissist with a predilection to lying.

OK, rich people don't have to release their tax returns. Got it.

What else does being rich get you out of?

He and his father Fred paid fines for refusing to rent apartments to black people. But that was in the high valued New York real estate region so we shouldn't hold that against them because he was just trying to ensure that the racists he did rent to wouldn't move out.

His father sent someone to one of Trump's casinos in Atlantic city to buy $3.5 million in chips with no intention of using them, basically giving Trump a $3.2 million gift towards his failing casino venture. But rich people are able to do that so it should be OK.

Trump has claimed in 2016 that his Trump National Golf Club outside of New York was worth $50 million. He then sued the town of Ossining in Westchester County over property taxes, claiming that the course should only be valued at $1.4 million. He had purchased the club for $8 million in the mid 1990s before spending another $45 million in improvements. But rich people have these involved real estate transactions so we shouldn't worry about them.

Not to mention the fat that he repeatedly promised that he would release his tax returns after they were audited by the IRS even thoughthe IRS has said that being audited doesn't prevent them from being released in any way.
