    Join us to learn tips and tricks to help you start the restaurant of your dreams! Hear from City staff and industry experts about how to find a great location and navigate permitting as well as learn first hand about the day to day challenges of the restaurant business.

    The City of Edmonton Local Economy team will detail the programs and services available to you as you embark on the journey of opening a restaurant. Development and Safety Codes Officers will discuss zoning and building permit requirements and considerations for any building, whether it's existing or new. The team that brought you The Common and Grandin Fish 'N' Chips will discuss their business and some of their lessons learned over the years.
